  • Battlefield Leaked. It's Called Battlefield V and is Set During WWII

The jury is still out on whether the game will deliver an interesting story, but what we do know about the fast-approaching sequel tells us we're in for a typically insane experience.

Ubisoft has announced today all the detalis for the post-launch content that has planned for Far Cry 5. It's madcap, but not in a bad way.

"We've really pushed hard this time to make it a much more integral part of the Far Cry experience, and to really give it its own identity".

Far Cry Arcade, then, is a map editor, but Ubisoft has thrown in everything but the kitchen sink. You can do single player maps to create challenges for single player or create co-op maps and PvP maps up to six versus six and you can push those maps out into the world for people to download and play them. That includes content borrowed from Far Cry 5's campaign, as well as other Ubisoft games: Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Assassin's Creed Unity and Watch Dogs.

You'll also be able to create playlists, play official creations, and engage in all-new modes. What's more, these DLC assets will be integrated into Far Cry Arcade upon release.

With the Arcade mode constantly updated by both Far Cry Studio and the player community, there should be plenty of exciting new content for players to engage in well beyond launch.

In addition to the paid season pass, Far Cry 5 and Far Cry Arcade will be the host of a number of free activities. We're going to make sure it's more visible than ever.

The three DLC campaigns will be available for anyone who buys a season pass of the Gold Edition of the game.

Far Cry 5 will be released on PS4, XBox One and PC on Tuesday 27 March, and Far Cry 5: Inside Eden's Gate is available to watch on Amazon Prime right now. PC gamers will receive access to Far Cry 3 sometime after the launch.
