  • The'Roseanne Revival Addressed Dan Conner's Death In The Silliest Way

The small-screen husband and his TV wife from ABC's "Roseanne" return joined "Jimmy Kimmel Live" together on Thursday, when of course Roseanne Barr's support for Donald Trump became the topic.

Barr now has a reboot of the sitcom, which is heavily political.

Sara Gilbert is on the show as Darlene Conner. It got a lot of attention. We wondered if we should do a clip show and I didn't want to do a clip show.

Barr added, "Everybody was in and so then it went from a special to a series and we had a deal in three weeks".

"You want Pence?" she said.

"For some reason I thought I read something years ago that Roseanne said she didn't want to touch the original so I had assumed for all these years there was no way to do it", Gilbert said.

'I said, "What about John?"

Careful to present both sides (particularly where it relates to the 2016 presidential election), the episodes offer an ample debate that features some of the best lines since the first year of the original series. In the final episode, Roseanne reveals that Dan had died.

On the series, which premieres Tuesday night, Roseanne Conner voted for Trump - much like Barr did in real life.

The actress, 65, wore an olive green floral shirt over a lacy cream top with a matching scarf, dark blue jeans and a pearl necklace to the set of the ABC morning show, in which she was seated on the program's trademark plaid couch with a quilted cover alongside co-stars John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf. "It was a total blessing to be back, it was so much fun", Goranson said. "I think the voice of working people is absent from television and I think we always had that and we have it again and there's nothing on television like it. I would hope that he would have good food".
