Police said Thursday, April 5 that Nasim Aghdam legally purchased the firearm in San Diego on January 16, 2018 from a gun dealer in her name.

The brother of YouTube shooter Nasim Aghdam slammed local authorities in the wake of her violent rampage at the tech giant's California headquarters, accusing them of missing the opportunity to prevent the attack and his sister's suicide. I wish we could look into someone's soul, ' Manny Mendoza, the store's manager, told Mercury News. He said it's unclear whether she made any remarks during the incident before shooting herself.

YouTube on Wednesday said that it "will be increasing the security we have at all of our offices worldwide to make them more secure not only in the near-term, but long-term".

He and his buddy, Daniel Sanford-Salar, would see Aghdam taping her own exercise videos on a patch of grass.

On Wednesday, authorities searched two houses connected with Aghdam and collected evidence for the investigation.

Aghdam entered the YouTube parking garage and walked to an open-air plaza, where she opened fire.

San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini says the YouTube shooter was angry about the policies and practices of the company and had visited a gun range before she drove to the company's headquarters near San Francisco.

Authorities say she may have targeted the video-sharing company because she didn't like its policies towards contributors.

"Customers said they heard what could have been gunshots when they were on their way here", Natalie Mangiante, an employee at Big Mouth Burgers located near the YouTube building, said by phone. She recorded several anti-carnivore videos that didn't obtain more than 250k views.

The Jackson Arms Shooting Range has surveillance cameras inside and outside of the facility and is about 3 miles (5 kilometers) from YouTube's headquarters. "How (could) she shoot the people?" said her father, Ismail Aghdam, said in an interview with Good Morning America that aired Friday.

Lee's analysis shows Aghdam's videos had total of about nine million views with 30,000 subscribers - nowhere near what's necessary to be a YouTube star. The fact that Aghdam doesn't match the common profile of a shooter who captures this much media attention underscores the one thing that does unite every instance of gun violence: guns.

One of the victims, a 36-year-old man, was listed in critical condition at San Francisco General Hospital. "She stated she had come to the area to stay with family and while she was now living out of her vehicle, she was in the process of looking for a job", the Mountain View Police Department said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon.

A Wednesday post on the Mountain View Police Department's Facebook page says officers found Nasim Aghdam sleeping in her vehicle in a parking lot. I didn't know she had a gun. She offered few specifics about what she believed had been suppressed, other than to complain that her workout videos had been flagged as adults-only content.

A 32-year-old woman was brought to the hospital in serious condition and a 27-year-old woman was taken there in fair condition on Tuesday.

It remains unclear whether her anger with the company spurred on the shooting, but the San Bruno Police Department released a statement late Tuesday saying that she did not know the individuals who were shot.
