  • 'Dark Souls: Remastered' on Nintendo Switch Delayed to 'Later This Summer'

The good news here is that the other versions of the game - for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC - have not been delayed and will still be out on May 25 as planned. These links leave Siliconera.

What we're trying to say is that Nintendo Switch owners who haven't yet been able to experience the game - or just want to take it with them wherever they may roam - are going to want to add this remaster to their wishlist. Sorry Nintendo fans! When we hear anything else, we'll let you know. The company is known for creating and publishing numerous industry's top video game franchises, including PAC-MAN™, TEKKEN™, SOULCALIBUR™, DARK SOULS™, NARUTO™, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN™, Dragon Ball, GALAGA™, RIDGE RACER™ and ACE COMBAT™. "Rest assured, this time will ultimately be used to improve your journey to Lordran", the account also tweeted. Well, at least for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Similarly, the companion Solaire of Astora amiibo has been delayed until a similar time frame.

The upcoming remaster is set to include the main game as well as its DLC, Artorias of the Abyss.

The Nintendo Switch version of "Dark Souls: Remastered", as well as the Solaire amiibo, will no longer hit on May 25, Bandai Namco announced Tuesday morning.

Changes include 4K support, the game running at 60fps (but running at 30fps on the Switch), an increase in the max amount of players in multiplayer mode and more.
