  • The folks behind 'Grand Theft Auto' just put out a new trailer for their next big game, 'Red Dead Redemption 2'- take a look

Rockstar's games haven't been known to be the best looking games in the industry, partly due to the fact that they're huge worlds that take years to create, but IGN has said that Red Dead 2 is a strikingly handsome game that is rich in detail. This exclusive content has yet to be detailed by Rockstar Games, but Sony could potentially share more details on it at E3 2018 in Los Angeles this June.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open world western shooter with a focus on story telling. Hopefully Rockstar Games will include such footage in the next Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer, to get fans more excited about the upcoming game.

The leader of the Van der Linde gang, Dutch Van der Linde, will survive the events of the game given he appeared in the original. While the gorgeous trailer has no gameplay footage, there are some interesting details scattered throughout. Among the new info is confirmation that the Honor System from the previous game will be making a comeback, keeping track of the good and bad actions you carry out as protagonist Arthur Morgan, as well as claims that the world will be a fully realised, living, breathing one. Those are nearly certainly members of the Van der Linde gang, the outlaw group that both Arthur Morgan and John Marston - the protagonist of the original Red Dead Redemption - belong to. Set in what is considered to be a time of lawlessness, America in 1899 was seeing the end of the Wild West era as lawmen are wrapping up what is left of the last remaining outlaw gangs. "Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed", it reads. "As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him".

The hotly-anticipated sequel to "Red Dead Redemption" doesn't hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One until October 26.

The west-bound train of Red Dead Redemption is gathering more and more steam.
