Tom Arnold Says Ex-Wife Roseanne Barr ‘Wanted’ Show To Be Cancelled

And President Donald Trump finally weighed in on the rapidly unfolding controversy Wednesday, questioning why the head of ABC parent company Disney had called Valerie Jarrett - the target of Barr's racist comments - to apologize, when he hadn't received similar treatment.

What ABC may miss out on most in Roseanne'sabsence though, are advertising dollars. She has retweeted ABC boycott campaigns, while also discouraging her fans to boycott.

In his own lengthy statement, Fishman wrote, in part, that he was "devastated" for his fellow cast and crew mates who lost their jobs on the show that he said "strived for inclusiveness, with numbers storylines created to reflect inclusiveness".

"Guys I did something unforgivable so do not defend me", she wrote, after retweeting many fans who had been defending her.

As for Barr's affinity for Donald Trump, Arnold admited he doesn't understand it.

Barr often spouts right-wing conspiracy theories on her Twitter account, and has found herself in social media hot water countless times before.

The Trump tweet continued, "Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the terrible statements made and said about me on ABC".

As the makers of Ambien pointed out, racism is not a side affect of their sleeping pills.

Barr sounds like she would support such a development. I see comedians, actors, etc make the same jokes and get applauded for it.

After Iger called former Obama administration adviser Valerie Jarrett to say he was sorry for a racist slur made by Barr - the star of ABC's now-canceled show "Roseanne" - Trump asked why he never received an apology.

Kelly Norman Ellis says she is teaching her students about the painful, historical context. Plus, what will fill the ABC show's slot this fall? The CEO, who has renewed his contract with Disney through December 2021, has acknowledged he considered running for president. "She blows up her own life and that of all those around her". "We acknowledge the tweets were unacceptable, but what would be further unacceptable is doing nothing now", said Blake. There may be a decision on what's next for the key timeslot "by week's end", the rep said.

Jarrett, one of the most prominent African American women in politics, was one of President Obama's top aides. Ancier said ABC probably had a plan in place for that eventuality, given how quickly the show was erased from network web sites.

But canceling "Roseanne" is "like taking off "All in the Family" or "I Love Lucy" or Andy Griffith at their zenith", he said.
