  • macOS 10.14 getting dark mode, Apple News, and possibly cross-device apps

Beyond Dark Mode, the Desktop is gaining a new Stacks feature to replicate the feature from the dock and build upon it for the Desktop.

To more cheers from developers, Apple also announced a redesigned Mac App Store for the Mojave update, expanding a new look the company introduced to iPhones and iPads past year.

One of the most significant Mojave features is a new Dark Mode. The similar dual-color option is available in all built-in Mac apps like Mail, Messages, Maps, Calendar and Photos.

One other new feature of MacOS Mojave is desktop stacks, which automatically categorizes files on the desktop into stacks which you can go through to declutter your Mac's desktop space.

Apple has brought apps from iOS to macOS Mojave, including News, Stocks, Voice Memos and Home, the app's configurations and features are synced with their iOS counterparts over iCloud. The interesting thing about this particular livestream is hat Chrome and Firefox users may be able to tune in.

Apple is adding the News app to the macOS Mojave as well.

Out of the many key upgrades that tech giant Apple announced in their Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2018, MacOS 10.14 which will be called Mojave, stood out.

Will My Mac Get macOS Mojave? All content stands out better in the Dark Mode, and chances are, you will probably leave this on most of the time for the sheer visual brilliance. However, that's not all, as the new macOS Mojave will come out with several other new features, too. Finally, Group FaceTime is also making an appearance in macOS Mojave. In addition, you can run custom Automator Actions on files directly from Finder with Quick Actions. The screenshot function also lets users record small snippets of videos as well. He framed them in terms of apps which distract users, and how Apple is helping combat them. The new App Store has been redesigned from the ground up with a brand new user interface, making it easier to navigate, discover and explore new apps. Apple says users on macOS Mojave using Safari browser can relax with all-new Intelligent Tracking Prevention which will help block social media Like or Share buttons and comment widgets from tracking users without permission. New and updated apps are given pride of place in a Discover tab, and categories Create, Work, Play and Develop are meant to make it simpler to discover exactly what you're trying to find. Safari now also automatically creates, autofills and stores strong passwords when users create new online accounts. Users will be able to lock down access to their camera, location, microphone, cookies, messaging history, and more.
