Indian film superstar Priyanka Chopra is engaged to young American singer Nick Jonas after a whirlwind two months of dating, a report said Friday.

'His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they're all really excited for him.

But director Ali Abbas Zafar appeared to allude to the engagement when he announced that Chopra was leaving the film "Bharat", a historical drama about modern India.

Representatives for Chopra and Jonas have been contacted for comment.

"Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ..." However, neither Nick nor Priyanka has addressed or confirmed the engagement news. "He's definitely very serious about her", a source told PEOPLE. The news comes just two months after the duo began dating in May.

Rumors of their relationship first swirled back in May, when they were spotted together three times in L.A. over Memorial Day weekend, at one point dropping by a Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert show, and a week later, hitting up a Dodgers game. A year earlier, they attended the 2017 Met in May together, but we didn't give it too much thought.
