President Donald Trump heads to a rally in Ohio today, a day after questioning Akron, Ohio hometown hero LeBron James's intelligence in a tweet.

At the end of the interview, Lemon challenged Trump, a move that perhaps invoked the Trump tweet.

Donald Trump picked an odd time to weigh in on the Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James debate.

During the interview, James also discussed a new school he has opened for underprivileged children in his home town in OH, which offers free meals and bikes to students, as well as job placement assistance for parents and an on-site food bank.

In the interview, James and Lemon talked about race, Trump and the state of the country. Lemon nor James has responded to Trump's tweet.

It is not clear who Trump meant when he said "I like Mike!"

'I believe our president is trying to divide us. he is, he's dividing us and what I have noticed over the last few months is that he's kind of used sport to divide'.

Trump had apparently watched a rebroadcast of the interview, CNN said, which originally aired Monday. In a 2013 tweet, Trump wrote, "Lebron is a great player and a great guy!"

"The school, the Foundation explains, is a "culmination of years of on-the-ground work and research-based interventions" funded by James" I PROMISE program.

James called Mr. Trump "U bum" on Twitter, writing that since the team already said they weren't going, "therefore ain't no invite. I can't sit back and not say nothing", James said of Trump's actions. LeBron publicly criticized Donald back in September 2017 when he called him a "bum" in a tweet for cancelling his invitation to the Golden State Warriors to celebrate their championship win at the White House. "Going to White House was a great honour until you showed up!"

CNN also interjected: "Sounds like @FLOTUS had the remote last night".

There was also this exceedingly spicy take from CNN PR. Most see Trump's racism again rising to the top.
