Each time there is a slight inkling that new Diablo projects are in the works, I'm straight on it.
It's been more than six years since Diablo III first released, and more than a year since its last DLC arrived, but the franchise isn't lying dormant. But today Blizzard has announced it has "multiple Diablo projects in the works".
For now, Camel directed current Diablo III players to the game's 14th Season, the "Season of Greed".
In a new video shared earlier today on the series'Official Facebook Page, Associate Community Manager Brand Camel confirms that multiple Diablo projects are now in the works, some releasing earlier than others.
It's unclear what the multiple Diablo projects could be, but the one that's going to take longer to develop might be Diablo IV. "Diablo is, and always will be, part of Blizzard's identity, and we can't wait for the future".
However, there is more to it than that, as Brandy goes on to say: "We'd also like to let you know that the forges here at Blizzard are burning hot". "Some will take longer than others", Camel explains, and news will apparently be shared later this year; a clear setup for a BlizzCon reveal in November. We hope you stay tuned, while we work to bring these Diablo experiences to life. What would you like to see in a future Diablo game?
