Ariana Grande 'Devastated' by Mac Miller's Death, Source Says

Mac Miller, the Pittsburgh-born rapper who developed a ravenous following over the course of five successful albums, died Friday of an apparent overdose in his San Fernando Valley home, multiple outlets have reported.
Miller was reportedly found at his home in the afternoon of Friday, September 7, and pronounced dead at the scene.
"Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26".
Miller had previously opened up about his substance abuse struggles, confessing he became hooked on "lean" - a mixture of prescription cough medicine and soda, early on in his career after reading bad reviews of his 2011 debut album Blue Slide Park.
Miller was set to start a tour next month to promote his latest album, "Swimming".
"Although the two ended their relationship, Ariana always shared a deep connection with Mac and wanted nothing but the best for him", the source added of the couple, who announced their split in May after almost two years together.
The LA coroner has said the hitmaker's - whose music had documented struggles with substance abuse and depression - cause of death was yet to be determined.
Posting an image of the pair on Instagram, Sheeran said Miller's untimely death was "so heartbreaking".
He continued releasing successful albums and mixtapes and in 2014, he signed with Warner Bros.
His good friend and fellow Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa tweeted, "Praying for Mac's family and that he rest easy". Mac's father loved him dearly and was really proud of Mac and everything he accomplished.
After fans blamed Grande for Miller's arrest the singer hit back on Twitter, claiming she had tried to help him stay sober for years.
A profile of Mac was published Thursday by Vulture, in which Mac mentioned he has enormous pressure growing up in the public eye.
The pair dated for nearly two years and recorded multiple songs together, including "My Favorite Part and "The Way". I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!'
He added: "We love you Mac".
