Martial, Bailly, Pereira join Pogba to rebel against Mourinho

  • Mourinho with Casillas and Pogba

United are enduring a hard moment with Pogba, given the poor relationship between him and manager Jose Mourinho.

The France and Real Madrid legend's name has constantly cropped up as part of the ongoing debate over Jose Mourinho's future, with sources telling ESPN FC that tensions between the Manchester United boss and some of his senior players are building.

Pogba and Mourinho's relationship appears to have hit breaking point, with the Red Devils boss confirming this week that the midfielder had been removed as the club's vice-captain.

Mourinho's punishment was swift and brutal, especially as Pogba was later seen on social networks laughing while United were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Derby.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss only signed a new deal in January, so it would be an expensive departure if the board made a decision to get rid.

He added: "We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves".

His agent was a huge beneficiary in the transfer that took him back to Man United from Juventus in the summer of 2016.

"At Old Trafford we would always have to attack, attack and attack", he'd said.

"There's not a chance in hell that he'd have allowed Pogba to speak to the press after that bad result against Wolves last week".

"If Pogba was 10 out of 10 every week, playing out of his skin and consistently performing, then perhaps he'd have more grounds to come out and disrespect his club".

Before that, the former defender went into greater detail on the issue, stating: "I think everyone is concerned about it, you have to be".

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Carragher said: "There's a power-play here going on, and I think Jose Mourinho is well aware there's cameras there".

"Pogba has caused far more trouble than he has good since returning to Man United".
