Apart from Nana Patekar, she had named choreographer Ganesh Acharya in the police complaint.

Actor Nana Patekar on Monday cancelled a press conference where he was due to address the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by actress Tanushree Dutta.

She said Ms Dutta too has been asked to appear before the commission to provide it more information on her complaint. The MSCW issued notices to Nana Patekar, Rakesh Sarang, Ganesh Acharya among others.

In the note, Tanushree Dutta stated that she filed her complaint under Sections 354, 354 (A), Section 34 and Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

An officer said, "The narrative of the video was edited in a way that it looks like Kumar is expressing his views on the Dutta-Patekar controversy, which he never did".

The media was informed about the cancellation by Nana's son Malhar.

The panel has also sought an update of investigation into the police complaint filed by Tanushree Dutta. "Will let you know about the further proceedings soon, regards", reports news agency PTI.

She also alleged in the interview that filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had behaved inappropriately towards her during the shooting of the 2005 movie "Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets". Nana Patekar's lawyer has already sent a legal notice the actress for maligning the image of his client and has demanded publicly apology from her. She said that Patekar, 67, was inappropriate during a song sequence for the 2008 move "Horn OK Pleassss". However, Tanushree lashed out saying that her husband is still working with Nana.
