The annual Arrowverse crossover is on the horizon, and now we have the first look at one of its biggest players: Batwoman.

Let's skip the preamble.

Rose's Batwoman is set to make her debut during The CW's three-part crossover event, which kicks off during The Flash on December 9. The new show will compliment the other DC Comics superhero series on the network - a lineup which now includes Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Black Lightning.

A pilot for that series will be filmed after the "crossover event".

There is a new caped crusader on the scene, and that would be The CW's Batwoman. Her black and red suit, designed by four-time Academy Award victor Colleen Atwood, also nods to the character's previous iterations with a classically cut cape with ruby red shading.

The modern incarnation of Batwoman debuted back in 2006, and she changed the superhero game forever. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham's symbol of hope.

This achievement is not lost on Rose who expressed her gratitude and excitement for being able to portray Batwoman on the small screen. The event will continue in an episode of Arrow on Monday, December 10 and conclude with an episode of Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11.

Although details about the crossover are scarce, we do know a few things. However, the fact that she wasn't Jewish wasn't the only way people went after Rose.

Rose was announced as the new Batwoman in August to both celebration and some social media backlash.
