This will direct you to the Search data page where you can manage your Search history and more. Even if you clear your browsing history, your search queries still remain intact on Google servers.

Users can now review and delete their recent Search activity, get quick access to the most relevant privacy controls in their Google Account, without ever leaving Search. All of these changes come as a result of an increasing focus on user privacy, and ensuring that users remain aware of the information being shared when they are using Google websites and services.

The new procedure for clearing out Google search and location history involves a new menu ("hamburger") button that can be found in mobile and some desktop versions of Chrome. Now, the procedure has become easy and convenient. It also gives you easy access to "Google-wide" controls, such as tracking activity on Google's sites and ad personalisation.

With all the criticisms Google continues to receive in regards to privacy, the company announced a new tool that offers privacy controls and makes it easier for you to understand what data Google collects. From now on, you can confine your search history directly in the search engine. The internet search giant will now enable you to review or delete your search activity within Google Search, and quickly get back to finding what you were searching for. Google hopes to expand this to Maps next year. Google has been reeling under pressure over a Google+ privacy flaw that left hundreds of thousands of users exposed to hacking. The company recently started providing a wide range of privacy controls for users with a Google Account, and it's now bringing some of those controls to Search.

Google is also releasing new YouTube videos explaining its privacy options.

Before this change was made, the only way to access your data and see how it is used was via your Google Account.
