Pete Davidson ain't above turning his pain into comedy, which is why he's working on some Ariana Grande-related jokes for "SNL" - even if it pisses her off - TMZ has learned.

After the 24-year-old Saturday Night Live cast member joked about split in a promo for the upcoming episode of the show, the 25-year-old "God is a woman" singer took to Twitter send some shade to her ex. "You wanna get married?" only to reply "0-3" when she quickly turned him down. And while it's unclear if Grande's tweets were directed her ex, it's much clearer that Davidson's joke on SNL was.

According to multiple outlets, including People and Cosmopolitan, Grande fired back some tweets that also seemed to respond to the joke, including, "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh" and a quick "thank u, next" comment. The two began dating in May, got engaged in June and called it off earlier this month.

Fans were not happy about Davidson's joke, taking to social media to defend Grande and slam the comedian.

That's right, even though Ariana is known by both her fans and many stars as being one of the nicer celebrities in Hollywood, it's clear she's reached her final straw with Pete after she completely dismantled him in three of the most savage tweets we've seen all year.
