He's avoided disciplinary action over allegations of a shoulder charge at the end of England's win over South Africa.

TIGHTHEAD prop Nick Schonert has been included in England's 35-strong squad to prepare for Saturday's battle with New Zealand at Twickenham.

He appeared to lead with the shoulder in tackling Andre Esterhuizen, an offence that under the current crackdown on risky tackles could have resulted in a red card being issued by referee Angus Gardner.

England kicked it dead but instead of blowing for time, Australian referee Angus Gardner called for a TMO review, with a potential match-winning penalty in easy range for Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard.

South Africa head coach Rassie Erasmus was asked about the tackle after the game and gave a brilliant sarcastic response, saying the tackle was very "effective" and that "we should do it".

'So you'll probably find people that are close to those players and family that might support it, then you'd have others with a different view on players jumping into a national team from another country so quickly.

"The most important thing is what we do next".

"I don't understand this guys. As he bounced off Esterhuizen, Farrell tried to dislodge the ball; he was not trying to wrap his arm".

"I just think the game is getting more intense. Sometimes you can take what you want from it", Farrell said.

"As soon as anyone goes to the big screen you are [nervous]", Farrell told reporters. "If I stay long enough you're going to get me sacked, so one day you're going to be happy".

According to the Guardian, New Zealand paid for their tickets rather than receiving any complimentary hospitality from the RFU, going completely under the radar it seems! We won't be wearing singlets and running shorts out there. It was a good Test match game of rugby today.
