  • Epic Games to undercut Valve with own PC games store

People who don't pay for the Battle Pass will get access to the mode on December 13, 2018. They can save those creations and invite friends to play on their island.

On Wednesday, Epic Games announced a new mode for Fortnite, titled the "Creative" mode. Epic plans to add features and improve Creative through frequent updates. It's the world's most popular battle royale title, and because it also serves as a constantly operating meme factory, it's also become a pop culture icon.

When is Fortnite Creative available?

Fortnite is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The potential is quite literally endless, and hopefully in the future Epic Games' aim is to open up global servers so anyone and everyone can join in on the most popular games and view the most spectacular builds.

Fortnite Season 7's theme is "Creative".

In the announcement video above, the developer states that everything is "saved from session to session", so players and their friends will be able to work on longer projects without having to worry about lost progress.

It may be hard to believe now, but Fortnite (Android, iOS) wasn't a battle royale game originally.

Like many Fortnite emotes, the dance later appeared in the game as a purchasable emote and was renamed to "Swipe It".

In Fortnite, players can purchase dances known as "emotes" that their characters can use to celebrate or kill time between battles. With a Fortnite Season 7 release date of December 6, expect the Fortnite Season 7 start time should be 9am BST (1:30pm IST) on December 6.
